Supporting Families, Making Disciples, Transforming the World

At FWBFUMC the family is always important to us. Our goal is to support our families in making disciples who will transform the world for Christ. Our different age level ministries work together to offer congruent programming and resources to help parents/guardians with the spiritual growth and development of their children. Our family ministry model offers age organized programs and events. Although, the ministries of the church are structured to draw generations together, equipping parents, championing their role as the primary disciple makers within their households so that their households become a way of witnessing to others inside and outside the faith community.

Faith@Home Sundays

Faith@Home is a gathering of families with all ages welcome (Parents, guardians, grandparents, etc.). We come together to celebrate the family and help one another as we walk this path together. These are times of encouragement through video, testimony, conversation, games and fellowship. We believe that when you combine the home and the church together to make disciples, great things can happen.

Generations Prayer Ministry

At FWBFUMC we want to encourage prayer flowing between the generations. Generations Prayer Ministry is a prayer partnership and commitment between the members of our church family from the youngest to the oldest. For more information and to register CLICK HERE.

Safe Sanctuaries

Safe Sanctuaries is an overt expression in making congregations safe places where children, youth and elders may experience the abiding love of God and fellowship within the community of faith. For more information on the Safe Sanctuaries policy of the United Methodist Church CLICK HERE.

FWBFUMC is a Safe Sanctuaries congregation. We want our families to know that we have a system and policies in place to secure the safety of our children, youth and elders. To view our policy CLICK HERE.
