The United Methodist Women…

Meet in various circles as well as corporately each month to plan and implement ministry and mission opportunities. We are a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ. We strive to develop a creative supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. We partner with various local ministries and organizations to provide support as well as opportunities for service. Some of these local partners are Children In Crisis,  The Water Front Mission, Catholic Charities and Sharing and Caring Food Bank

Phone Buddy Program

The goal of this program is to create a system of security through communication. It is designed for those who live alone and may experience an emergency with no family nearby to help. We will pair these individuals with “just the right” phone buddy and ask them to call each other on a regular basis. Such calls need not be lengthy but are an important means of security. To sign up for a phone buddy, to help with the program, or for more information, contact the church office or Ernie Masters at (850) 243-4268.

Safe Sanctuaries

Safe Sanctuaries is an overt expression in making congregations safe places where children, youth and elders may experience the abiding love of God and fellowship within the community of faith. For more information on the Safe Sanctuaries policy of the United Methodist Church CLICK HERE. FWBFUMC is a Safe Sanctuaries congregation. We want our families to know that we have a system and policies in place to secure the safety of our children, youth and elders. To view our policy CLICK HERE.

Senior Adult Ministry Questionnaire

The purpose of this questionnaire is to learn the needs and interests of our church members who are in the age groupings for our Senior Adult Ministry program. We will start with some demographic information and then gather information on your needs and interests.
